The biceps are the show muscles of the body. That’s probably why working them in the gym is so popular. And when it comes to hitting the biceps, the exercise of choice will invariably be the curl. Whether it’s with a barbell, a dumbbell or a cable, the resistance curl has long stood as the foundation movement to getting great guns. Yet, there is another way. A safer way. A more convenient and a potentially more effective way. And all it takes is the body that you were born with.
Walk into any gym and you’ll see guys in every direction obsessing over their arms. They’ll be throwing ridiculous amounts of weight around in what are meant to be barbell curls, a hundred variations of dumbbell curls and even the ironically named Preacher curls. Most of them get nothing more than a dislocated disc for their troubles.
It’s time to discover a smarter way to get the arms that you deserve. Not by throwing weight plates around in a gym but by using nothing but the body that you were born with. Body weight exercises are, in fact, the most efficient, functional and convenient way to develop and define muscular yet athletic biceps, triceps and forearms.
